The National Library of Uzbekistan till 2012 along with traditional card-catalog worked on electronic catalog. At present Division of National Bibliographic Databases Formation replenishes the AILS electronic database with materials of Uzbekistan studies. 

For the period of first half of August Cataloging and Classification Division received 371 new items.
The Division staff has made processing of new arrivals, and made bibliographic description of  251 books (classified under the following headings: politics – 77 items, medicine – 1 items, culture – 70 items, literature – 38 items, technology – 11 items, agriculture – 3 items, sport - 1 items, science – 22 items, linguistics - 2 items, fiction – 19 items, reference – 7 items).

The National Library has updated its weekly repertoire of documentary films demonstrated in the Cinema Center of the library. The repertoire includes materials on three subjects: "Our Heritage", "Our great leaders", "Our achievements".
