The National Library of Uzbekistan till 2012 along with traditional card-catalog worked on electronic catalog. At present Division of National Bibliographic Databases Formation replenishes the AILS electronic database with materials of Uzbekistan studies.
As of 29 October-2 November, 2012 the electronic catalog was replenished with 46 bibliographic records of newspapers articles, 29 records of journals articles, in total 591 bibliographic records and 307 bibliographic records were edited.

The National Library has updated its weekly repertoire of documentary films demonstrated in the Cinema Center of the library. The repertoire includes materials on three subjects: "Our Heritage", "Our great leaders," "Our achievements".
Each section represents documentaries produced in Uzbekistan, which tell about historical figures contributed to our history, science, civilization; cultural, historical, ethnographic, architectural monuments, as well as the results and achievements of modern and independent Uzbekistan.

From October 29 to November 2 this year Service of cataloging and classification was 79 copies. new thesis. Was made of the technical and scientific processing, and performed a bibliographic description (classified under the following headings: politics - 16 units., Science - 15ed., Agriculture - 6 units., Equipment - 11 units., Culture - 10., medicine - 21 pcs.), which were transferred to the storage service book collection and periodicals for further use by readers.
