Cinema center of the National library contains the repertoire of spiritually-educational and scientific-popular video materials, which demonstrate the basic ways of preservation of national traditions, historically, spiritual and cultural heritage, and also education of the spiritually perfect youth.In the events of the video, the images of the positive and negative characters, masterfully conveyed to the viewer those negative factors, which threaten human life and contribute to the emergence of bad consequence.

From 26 to 30 November this year Service of cataloging and classification was 285 copies. new editions.
Was made of the technical and scientific processing, and performed a bibliographic description of 32 books (classified under the following headings: politics - 2 units., culture - 17 units., fiction - 2 units., equipment - 3 units., literature - 4 units., medicine - 4 units.

The National Library of Uzbekistan till 2012 along with traditional card-catalog worked on electronic catalog. At present Division of National Bibliographic Databases Formation replenishes the AILS electronic database with materials of Uzbekistan studies.

November 19, 2012 the National Library of Uzbekistan Alisher Navoi names delegation visited the Czech Republic, Mr. Hynek Peiho and his deputy, Mr. Homan Masaryk.
