Business presentation
On February, 8 at 16:00 the National Library of Uzbekistan will host an interactive presentation on "The concept of creating value chains for small and medium business in the context of sustainable economic development: the case of Germany." The topic will be discussed from a theoretical and a practical side. Case studies are based on three examples of a business (in services area) in Saxony in Eastern Germany.

On February 5, 2013 in the exhibition hall of the National Library of Uzbekistan held a presentation of Normuradov Holmuradova laureate of State Prize. A.R. Biruni.
The event was attended by scientists, professors, teachers and students of the Tashkent State Agrarian University.

Press-conference in the National Library
On Tuesday, the 5th of February the United Nations Development Programme in Uzbekistan and the National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi organized a Press-Conference on signing of Memorandum of Understanding between the United Nations Development Programme in Uzbekistan and the National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi.
In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding, UNDP and the National Library plan to cooperate in the following areas: organizing trainings for the library staff on the use of ICT tools while working with wide range of audience, including people with disabilities;

From 28 January to 1 February support cataloguing and systematization of the received 510 copies of new editions.
