The National Library continues work on the completion of electronic database of information resources and assignment of ISBN and ISSN numbers to local publications
At present Division of National Bibliographic Databases Formation replenishes the AILS electronic database with materials of Uzbekistan studies.
As of May 6-10, 2013 the electronic catalog was replenished with 80 bibliographic records of newspapers articles, 3 records of journals articles, in total 400 bibliographic records and 155 bibliographic records were edited.
At present Division of National Bibliographic Databases Formation replenishes the AILS electronic database with materials of Uzbekistan studies.
As of May 6-10, 2013 the electronic catalog was replenished with 80 bibliographic records of newspapers articles, 3 records of journals articles, in total 400 bibliographic records and 155 bibliographic records were edited.

From 6 to 10 may support cataloguing and systematization of the received 437 copies of new editions.
Was made of their technical and scientific processing, as well as performed the bibliographic description of 251 books (systematized in the following sections: policy - 16 units, medicine - 7 units, fiction -74 units, agriculture - 2 units., technique - 10 u., art - 8 units), pedagogy and culture - 45 u., natural Sciences - 38 units, sport - 3 units, directories - 2 units, literature -36 units, linguistics - 10 units.) and 168 abstracts

Donation of manuscripts and books of XVIII – XX centuries
On May 6, 2013 at 15.00 Akram Khabibullaev, an American scholar of Kazakh origin, who currently holds the position of Head of the Middle East, Islamic and Central Eurasian Collection at Indiana University (USA) donated 10 Arab and Turkic manuscripts to the National Library of Uzbekistan. Dr Khabibullaev attended the 7th International Conference "Internet, Information and Library Resources for Science, Education, Culture and Business» «Central Asia – 2013". Also Farhad Mardonov, student of the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies donated two books from his private collection to the National Library.

Was made of their technical and scientific processing, as well as performed the bibliographic description 266 books (systematized in the following sections: policy - 52 units, medicine - 6 units, fiction -66 units, S.Kh.- 12 u., technique - 19 units., art - 7 units, pedagogy and culture - 46 units, natural Sciences - 36 units., literature -22 units.) and 362 abstracts (policy - 141 pieces, medicine - 31 units, S.Kh.- 14 units, equipment - 60 u., art - 8 units), pedagogy and culture - 24 units, natural Sciences - 47 u., sport - 12 units., literature - 6 units, linguistics - 19 units.) which have been transferred to the service of the storage of books and periodicals for the further use of the readers.
