Was made of their technical and scientific processing, as well as performed the bibliographic description 26 books (systematized in the following sections: policy - 10 units, art - 10 units, natural sciences - 2 units, literary criticism – 4 units) and 289 abstracts (policy – 104 units, medicine - 34 units, equipment - 55 units, art - 5 units, culture – 25 units, natural sciences - 45 units, linguistics - 4 units, agriculture – 1 units, literary criticism – 16 units) which have been transferred to the service of the storage of books and periodicals for the further use of the readers.
8. GreenFILE.
At present Division of National Bibliographic Databases Formation replenishes the AILS electronic database with materials of Uzbekistan studies.
As of May 27-31, 2013 the electronic catalog was replenished with 61 bibliographic records of newspapers articles- in total 249 bibliographic records and 207 bibliographic records were edited.
From 27 to 31 may support cataloguing and systematization of the received 344 copies of new editions.
Was made of their technical and scientific processing, as well as performed the bibliographic description 344 abstracts (systematized in the following sections: policy - 86 units, medicine - 59 units, agriculture – 15 units, art - 4 units, literary criticism – 7 units, culture – 35 units, natural sciences - 48 units, sport - 7 units, linguistics – 11 units, equipment - 72 units) which have been transferred to the service of the storage of books and periodicals for the further use of the readers.
On May 30, on the eve of the celebration of the International Сhildren’s Day the National Library of Uzbekistan arranged a number of events in cooperation of SOS-Children's villages of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek-Japanese center of human resources development, UNICEF, UNDP. The event was attended by over 120 children.
In connection with a Sanitary day, the National library does not work on May 31, 2013.
