Philologist, Philosopher, Expert of the Islamic sciences
 
 Information, concerning Akhmad Yugnaki’s biography  is not enough. Asit is known, he lived and worked in the XII-XIII centuries and was born in a place so called Yugnak. Villages with such name were in surroundings of Samarkand, Ferghana Valley and on the banks of Sirdarya River. According to the resounces Yugnaki was born blind but nevertheless he paid a great attention to study various sciences and firstly he learned Koran by heart. Alisher Navoi in his work called Nasaim al-Muhabbat (“The Winnowing of Love”) puts Akhmad Yugnaki to the same level of famous sheikhs of Central Asia.
 
Main Scientific Works
 
Akhmad Yugnaki is the author of number of works but only one book by him has got up to us which is called poem Khibat al-hakaik (“The Gifts of Truth”) written at the end of XII and at the beginning of XIII centuries. The work consists of 484 hemistiches (misra), divided into 14 chapters. The entire copies of the current work which came to us are of the XV century.
 
Contribution to the World Science
Philosophy: was proficient in the Islamic sciences and contributed to their development.
 
Philology: he is a prominent scientist of his time in the field of stylistics.
 
Ahmad Yugnaki assisted in science and culture development of Turkic nations in Maveranahr and   Horasan in XIII century.
 
World Recognition
 
Ahmad Yugnaki is  famous scientist not only for Uzbek nation but Islamic world too that made cobtribution to the development of sciences for that times.
 
He is mentioned together with such names of great scientists and thinkers working in XI-XII centuries as Mahmud Kashghari, Yusuf has Khojib, Ahmad Yassaviy. His works were studied and highly appreciated by Alisher Navoi in his writings.
