The National Library continues work on the completion of electronic database of information resources and assignment of ISBN and ISSN numbers to local publications
From 15 to 21 june support cataloguing and systematization of the received 233 copies of new editions.
Was made of their technical and scientific processing, as well as performed the bibliographic description 113 books (systematized in the following sections: policy - 42 units,  natural sciences - 9 units, literary criticism – 42 units, agriculture – 1 units, equipment -  3 units, culture – 14 units, imaginative literature – 2 units )  and 120 abstracts (policy – 52 units, medicine - 16 units, equipment -  29 units, culture – 13 units, natural sciences - 10 units) which have been transferred to the service of the storage of books and periodicals for the further use of the readers.
Just joined full-text documents for bibliographic records 2514 names.
With the beginning of the year service cataloguing and systematization of systematized on BBK (BBK), and produced a bibliographic description of the 1400 printed publications prepared for publication in Uzbekistan.
At present the AIBS system includes 409450 records in total.
   
At present Division of National Bibliographic Databases Formation replenishes the AILS electronic database with materials of Uzbekistan studies. 
As of June 17-21, 2013 the electronic catalog was replenished with 38 bibliographic records of newspapers articles, 10 records of journals articles, in total 361 bibliographic records and 298 bibliographic records were edited. 
Regarding issuing of  International Standard Book Number (ISBN) for local publications, the National Library issued 49 ISBN numbers (books for adults 43, books for children – 6). 21 contracts for 37 titles of literature for adults and 5 for children were composed.
And regarding  issuing of International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) for local publications. The Library made contracts for 8 ISSN numbers.
