The National Library continues work on the completion of electronic database of information resources and assignment of ISBN and ISSN numbers to local publications
Cataloging and classification service received 286 copies of new editions between 13 and 17 April.

Technical and scientific processing were made and 167   books’ bibliographic descriptions were performed (classified under the following headings: policy - 46 units, medicine - 6 units, pedagogy and culture - 18 units, science - 10 units, technical – 2 units, agriculture-1 unit, art - 5 units, literature - 40 units, fiction books- 22 units, linguistics - 7 units), 119 abstracts (politics - 40 units, science - 18 units, medicine - 13 units,  technical - 19 units, agriculture - 3 units, pedagogy and culture - 9 units, literature- 2 units, linguistics –7 units) which were given to the storage service book collection and periodicals for further use by readers.

In order to enhance the effective use of library resources readers 21 received publications have been translated from the printed form to the full-text electronic form.

Total joined full-text documents for Bibliographic Records are 10 titles.

Cataloging and systematized service on LBC (Library Bibliographic Classification) gave bibliographic descriptions of 919 prints and preparing for publication in Uzbekistan.

At the present the AIBS system includes 546650 records in total. 
At present Division of National Bibliographic Databases Formation replenishes the AILS electronic database with materials of Uzbekistan studies. 

As of  April  13  - 17, 2015  the electronic catalog was replenished with 175 bibliographic records of newspapers articles, 3 records of journals articles, in total 494 bibliographic records and 205 bibliographic records were edited. 
Regarding issuing of International Standard Book Number (ISBN) for local publications, the National Library issued 71 ISBN numbers (books for adults  66 books for children – 5). 18 contracts were composed.

And regarding issuing of International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) for local publications the National Library issued 2 ISSN numbers. The Library made contract for 3 ISSN numbers.
