On the last day of the General Conference and Assembly of the International Federation of library associations and institutions (IFLA) the completion of the meetings in the following sections:
 
• Copyright issues
• Libraries in social processes
• The issues of digitization and creation of electronic resources
• Issues of conservation and management of documentary cultural heritage.
 
Interest was aroused by segment - knowledge Management with the theme of "Knowledge in the digital age. Changes in libraries. The role of libraries". We heard 4 of the report. The first report from the Bavarian state library devoted to the issues of contemporary challenge to libraries, as well as the preparation of the publication, life publications after publication. Second report was by the Humboldt University in Berlin. Devoted to the role of libraries in the digital age. How should we transition from text to number, from text to context, from the text-type data. How to submit publications in open access. Third report from the Singapore national Council libraries. In Singapore there is a national library, the archive, 25 public libraries and other libraries. Is the digitization of publications and 20 million publications in the figure. What should be a digital strategy? 4 problems - the first is the content in the figure, the second issue of the search engine, the third access for all users, regardless of device, the fourth storage of content. Fourth report was by Professor from Philadelphia about the virtual library (Problems of creation and filling of resources, the problem of the repository and open access).

On this day took place the closing ceremony of the Congress and announced the holding in 2015 for the IFLA Congress in Cape town (South Africa). Final report of the Congress will be sent to each participant of the forum.
